MARVEL POWERS UNITED VR

Tasked with coming up with a fresh, new way of promoting both awareness and conversion for the new VR game and bundle package “Marvel Powers United VR” on Oculus Rift. I decided on two seperate executions: Super Powered Bundles and The Power Is In Your Hands. For the bundles, I decided on hiring a prop team to rebuild iconic sets from the Marvel universe that I drew up to match their game environment counterparts. Then, (with the magic of photography, post-production design, and animation) developed executions for broadcast, social, digital, and print.

SUPER POWERED BUNDLE

Built iconic prop landscapes Wakanda and Jotunheim to match their in-game counterparts.

THE POWER IS IN YOUR HANDS

Developed the idea that anyone can be a superhero with Oculus Rift by shooting a diverse set of hands of different genders, ages, and races. I think recreated the look of the hero’s powers for each execution. The client loved it so much that these assets are hanging on the walls in Facebook / Oculus HQ.

how-to “infographics”

Developed a fun way for people to learn iconic moves of their favorite characters with a comic-book inspired layout and design aesthetic that still kept true to the look of this title. Also, I’m well aware these are not traditional “infographics” however that’s what Marvel wanted to call these.
